Santa Cruz Lawn Bowls Training 2010

We will be offering several training venues this year:

June 4 will be a day geared for beginner training. See below for more information.

Another session geared for perhaps a bit more experienced to the very experienced will be with Larry Murphy and Larry Collaco on April 16. It will be followed by another full day on June 18th with John Hickson and Larry Collaco. See below for more information

Cost includes instructor fees, lunch and game with the coaches. Participation will be limited to 24.

Won over Israel in opening match at Sheffield, England , lost to Irish team,

Played in US Open 2001-2009 except 2007 often with Canadian teammates.
Played in US PBA Qualifying Tournament every year since 2001

Friday, June 18, 2010:                                                 ($30)

The original program has been changed and we would like to welcome Australian coach Tony Scott, who will spend four months coaching bowls in the United States.

Tony Scott & Santa Cruz Bowls vice president Christine Palochak after Christine's lesson on Wednesday.

TONY SCOTT, two-time US Open pairs champion will be visiting the Santa Cruz Lawn Bowls Club June 16-23. The Australian lawn bowls coach will be teaching clinics and private lessons at the Santa Cruz Club . Seven positions remain in the June 18, 9:30-2:30 clinic ($30- lunch included). Private lessons ($25)  are available in the afternoons.

Monday,Tuesday & Wednesday-June 21-23, 2010:

A “Coaching for Coaching” class will be held over 3 days from 10am-12pm on June 21, 22 and 23 ($50 for all 3 sessions). As of Saturday June 19 a number of positions are available. Contact Christine Palochak, 429-5075, to schedule.
